I don't think everlasting love is good, but it's like a car crash that I just can't stop watching, so I read every update lol. And I'm not coming to his defense or anything, but he NEVER cheated on the uke. They broke up, and the uke CHOSE to stay as a butler. The reason they broke up is bc the spider sent photos to the seme that made it look like the uke cheated on him. While they were broken up he did sleep with the uke, but they were not together so it was more like fwb at the time.

Honestly, I think "Painter of the Night" and "Pearl Boy" are a bit overrated. The stories are good, and the art is stunning, but with all the hype I saw on TikTok and from my friends, I expected something way more impressive. There are definitely some great moments in the plots, but overall, it just not for me.

Yeah agreed, the ukes that I told you I liked, from the stories The Promise and Song of Reverberation aren't like this at all, they're mature and intelligent, nothing like your average uke that can be easily manipulated by the seme. The author writes them as human beings with logic that don't just fall in love with the seme the moment they see them and do as the seme says, they defy the toxicity and stand by their logic and morals in a really commendable way.
Sorry i just love them so much i couldn't help but go on about them. Would definitely recommend you to read the two stories if you're into bls that have well thought out interesting and unique plots.
