yeah i don’t agree with the actions of any of her previous life family members actions point blank. it was cruel to act towards her that way. i think people are more “forgiving” of the duke and brother because we actively get chapters of them trying to repair their relationship with each other where as unfortunately camilla’s mother doesn’t get that same treatment. she’s mostly summed up to be a somewhat bad mother because even camilla doesn’t look upon her favorably and considering the story is from her perspective we are bound to somewhat be biased in that sense
