I forgot about the ML's whole misunderstanding about the character of the MC. And it's pissed me off again. How long is this gonna last ?
Ahjo lowkey isn't wrong about the MC creating a fantasy of him in his head. Ahjo was a dick in high school too. MC needs to wake up.
Although I am slightly satisfied by how much Apollo is being dragged, the pure intense sadness I feel for Daphne is just overwhelming. She has lost the entirety of who she is and it's simply for the enjoyment of the gods. She has no home, no agency, and no sense of self. And this whole entire situation could have been her idea of paradise, but it's been screwed over because of Eros, who simply wanted to get back at Apollo for saying they were not equals. There is only misfortune being done to her, there is nothing she can control. It's incredibly sad.
I get both sides. Luke is right that Andrew needs to have something, not even just friends, but anything outside of Luke that he takes a genuine interest in. A hobby, friends, a cat, etc. And I think Andrew's point has a lot of value. Do I think Andrew has a skewed perception of Luke and his helplessness? Yes. Luke is far more aware than he appears and it's his choice what he is willing to tolerate and what he isn't. Luke is not a pushover, he has very clear limits. Andrew, on the other hand, doesn't. I hope they take a break from being around each other 24/7. But I don't want some stupid time skip break up.
Okay, I'm on ch.7 and I can't get over how creepy the ML is. Like, so creepy, controlling, coercive. So, can someone please tell me if this get better (i.e. he gets less creepy and develops an idea of consent). I want to read this, I want to love this. Please lmk if I will be able to :)
