The romance plot is terrible. Poor pacing, not compelling at all. BUT the corruption plot is genuinely done so well. I actually kinda wish it was the whole plot. Forget the smut and romance, I wish the author had just committed to a resurrection drama. No romance, just straight plot about this case because it's actually very good. I think this manhwa would have benefited from being a different genre. Or even just a slow burn instead of smut. The tomance bits don't work and seem so lacking compared to the actual story plot.

Im a bit confused on what Chase remembers. Sometimes it seems kike he remembers sleeping with him and biting his ear and sometimes it seems like he doesn't remember anything. He clearly had the dream of biting his ear. Clearly saw Josh's face. But then is he just slow and not piecing it together or does he not even remember sleeping with him im so confused?

Just finished the novel, phew 10/10 amazing, biased though. Unbiased perhaps 9.5/10. No spoilers review: It really explores the complexities of love. Makes you feel all the emotions. I cried in heartbreak, smiled at heartwarming moments, and laughed joyfully all within the same chapter sometimes. Here's a really good translation link for yall who wanna read. I recommend starting from the beginning bc while the manhwa is good, the mc is a quiet person and a lot of the story is his internal thoughts and dialogue. The novel does a better job at communicating his true thoughts and feelings which with a relatively non speaking mc is essential. He does get pregnant in the side stories after it ends but he never has it. Its only revealed that hes pregnant and they have a gender reveal party. That's literally the last chapter of the side stories tho so we aren't getting anymore. I was a but disappointed too but the story is still excellent.
