Because these notice come from the author and the uploaded is respectful to post them after a week time so the author can earn on the official platforms. This goes for all the chapters, hiatus, notices etc. Also, the notice can come at any point in time, it’s not planned. You can always pay to read in advance on the official platforms. Remember this is an illegal site, can’t have all the luxuries

I remember the authors used to do that but I don’t see them doing it anymore. The hiatus must not be a pre schedule thing but something that was recently decided based on the author’s needs. They probably want to do it like that so that they can give the authors more flexibility in their schedule.
I understand the plan of infiltrating the Hounds to soon break free from them, but the girl asking the MC to do it with her seemed kinda stupid. I thought the Hounds were gone majority of the time so if we're trying to make the ML's interest for MC stick why separate them? It seems it might work out after all since ML is going too but that was just luck. Overall pretty dumb of them tho
