4. And bc of the cycle of SA in Heonjae and Jingi's life as children they targeted Myung-il...just cause? Just cause why, surely there's a plot driven reason why they chose him?

1. Yes his mother died. Jinji has accepted it but it’s obvious he missed his mother seeing as how he called out for her in his sleep. Heonjae doesn’t know b/c only Jinji has access to the letters + Myungil decided not to tell him cus he thought Heonjae wouldn’t be stable enough to process it.
2. No he did not murder his teacher, he kidnapped him and cut his legs off. His teacher was there during his trial.
3. It hasn’t been revealed to us exactly why Jinji is in jail. We know his uncle put him in there but I’m not sure if it’s because he was framed for being a pedophile.
4. Because of their cycle of abuse + the fact that the prison system is fucking horrible, I’m pretty sure their heads became fucked up. Even before Myungil, they targeted a bunch of men. There’s a reoccurring comment of them fucking piggies in the prison. I don’t think there was a specific reason they targeted Myungil. It was mostly because despite being warned, Myungil still started a fight with them. There’s also the possibility that Myungil is literally the main character so he just had to be involved with them lmao idk.
I see it now- Heesung uses chapter 34 blackmail on Jaekyung for him to practice more with Potato. Kim Dan gets jealous and starts pursuing JK again
