They have a sequel following their daughter.
It only has 41 chapters so I’d let it bake, but just letting people know

So this is what I’ve put together. It’s a little long and may not be entirely accurate.

Selena=our FL
Grand duke = our ML
Grand duke sister = Empress/Edith?
Rowan=fake Selena (og witch who cus the grand dukes blood line)
Vincent= purple haired kidnapper
Brother of Vincent

Rowan was in love with the first grand duke, he got married to someone else and suggested she date Vincent because Vincent would do anything for her. Rowan doesn’t want Vincent, she wants the first grand duke. The first grand duke marries someone else, she curses the bloodline.

For some reason Rowan and the 2 brothers can’t/don’t die. Generations pass.

Our ML (Grand duke) is slated to marry and fall in love with Selena (Our FL). Rowan sees the Grand duke is reminded of her first love and tries to claim him. She attempts to become Selena but the Grand duke is cold to her and they have a loveless marriage. She tries this 7 times (turning back the clock each time) with the 7th time she actually steals Selena’s body sending her soul to South Korea where she lives as Yumi.

Now I’m confused as to how our Selena has the memories, possible from the overlapping timelines.

After failing for the 7th time Rowan she accepts death somehow, and apologizes for the people she’s hurt. Vincent doesn’t like this and revives Rowan; he also brings back Serena (Yumi) from South Korea more than likely using one of the volumes (diaries kept by Rowan posing as Serena). Because of this volume our Serena thinks she’s in a novel and that she’s taken over Serena’s body. She has guilt and because she sees some of Serena’s memories she believes both souls are in the same body and are merging with each other.

The Grand duke starts to believe Serena when she says she’s not a witch and the knight mentions they could have tampered with Serena’s memories.

Now to the Empress aka sister. In this latest chapter they call her Edith and say they were looking for her, maybe so they can die (idk); but they say she was never the Grand Duke’s sister in any timeline that’s passed. She may have already been the Empress at the time and because all of the volumes are told from Rowan’s perspective (and she was locked up for most of, if not all of the time) she would have nerver met her.

The current motive:
Rowan wants to be loved by the Grand duke but can’t break the curse since he had to sleep with his “true love”, so she starts the transformation into Serena (that’s why she was all bandaged up) and waits for them to do the do. While waiting she’s growing impatient since they are getting so close; she and her crew decide to kidnap Serena and swap them two. Rowan gets caught immediately and Grand duke asks Empress to feed Rowan the potion that strips a witch of her power. Empress initial doesn’t believe they’ve switched but does it anyway since it wouldn’t hurt a normal person.

Grand duke is trying to get back Serena. Vincent is nervous about upsetting Edith/Empress. Serena’s trying to learn more about who she is/why she’s in the world she’s in. And I think that’s about it.
