I think it’s Atel and her family that ruin the empire after finding out she died and how she died. Because the prince and the queen killed her they probably lost all loyalty to the kingdom. Atel obviously loves her even as just a friend (during past life), so it would make sense he’d go on a rampage after killing one of his only friend if not only friend.

And sure it was weird for someone to just magically pop up and claim that ur child is theirs but he didn’t force anything. Instead he explained everything and made a deal that yiyi can stay with rourou and nobody can force them to part. Eventually he started liking him so now they’re both gonna be fathers of rourou.

Also if Yi Yun made a DNA test, then the result would most probably show as him being RouRou's biological dad. Jinyao is powerful after all, he has connections and can make everything work according to his plan.
