In my experience the best thing is to distance yourself and still communicate. I was interested in my bestfriend for four years. If you can distance/limit your contact it is easier to move on. Next don't scroll on the socials or look at every post they post, if you keep lots of tabs on them then you will subconsciously think about them. After that...... reply
