Mildly interesting premise tho

Read the first 2 chapters, and it’s cliche asfk. Characters are super flat and the dialogues are mediocre. Doesn’t address the issue of missing family and friends at ALL, they just straight dive into training and act like they’re at a summer camp in the next town over. The story doesn’t have to have deep angst, but the lack of introspection for the events that transpired (isekai into new world without a way to go back) is irritating. Also the art is very plain.
The MC suddenly becoming talented and the author not showing his growth is also bad writing. Readers are informed of his growth only via journal entries over a span of 1-3 pages…like wtf? Zero effort for character development, world-building and story immersion.

I’m sorry I’m sure the dynamic later on becomes my absolute favourite but the beginning is so awful and scuffed that I can’t take any relationship developments seriously

Uke is a massive piece of sht that disrespects people on the most basic level, the seme even ACKNOWLEDGES IT, and then…the tone suddenly shifts to a “aw the uke is so cute” (ch 9-10) just because the uke decided to use his own asshole instead of his dick. I don’t mind rape in stories as long as the reactions are portrayed accurately, but this dumbass author went for a “aw he’s using his hole, what a generous soul” and started drawing soft and rosy vibes. It was a serious WTF moment when the seme started catching feelings after seeing the uke’s O-face…which happened RIGHT AFTER the uke started raping him AND destroyed the seme’s property for the most childish reason (“wah wah he started it” like stfu this isn’t your fucking house)

Fk this uke, he’s such a horrible human being idk what about him is “charming”. A shitty history doesn’t give a free pass to kidnap, rape, and lock up people. Why tf is the author making the seme do a whole 180 and call this mofo an oddly charming cutie???????

This is psychological horror portrayed as flowery romantic bullsht
Seme gaslights, rapes, sexually assaults, and doesn’t respect the feelings nor schedule of the uke (the fact that it’s his academic schedule pisses me off more, cuz this mans got scholarships and expensive tuition to keep up…let the uke focus on his studies .-.). Smut scenes are hot, yeah, but from what the author’s revealed pre-20-chapters the uke seems to hate the seme…being in his shoes, being forced to fuck and hang out constantly with a stalker rapist that you hate isn’t dreamy or cute. Jesus fk they have no emotional chemistry, this is straight up horror

Also, does the admin office suck ass at this uni or smth? The uke should go to the residential office (or an equivalent) and request a roommate change. If the seme chases uke down being all “you owe me”, uke can retort with “I tripped cuz I was running away from your stalking ass, you jumped in and got yourself hurt. I’ll pay the settlement money in instalments to make up for the accident, don’t bother me anymore”

Good mystery and story building
I’ll keep reading it but the development of character dynamics are pretty spotty…it sorta gets better as the story goes on, but as of season 2 the story doesn’t keep a steady and clear focus on the characters’ perspectives during each conflict. Sorta all over the place shifting focus back and forth lol (maybe the dialogues aren’t that great either)
