I dont care what anyone says, (I used to be a taku shipper, but now Im a non shipper) because I hate Joowon with a passion, The author changed the ending there was so much symbolism of Haesoo moving on, (especially the smoking metaphors) and its funny how there was an extension to chapters and why did the author need a creators note to explain the ending? All Of it was just very strange to me.
I will never ever understand why Joowon was so popular, but unfortunately he was, and I honestly dont see this amazing chemistry people talk about with Haesoo and Joowon, I dont like that type of couple dynamic (I honestly dont get how they fell in love or why)
There was even the incident with the merch and if Im not mistaken the author was getting attacked on socials

its funny bec i read this in high school [im 3rd year in college now] and i remember i used to wish and literally pray to have a college romance just like this manhwa. and unfortunately, it did happen HAHAHA and i wanna take it back. bec being in love with your best friend doesnt always lead to a happy ending like this one. its kind of scary how much my irl experience mirror this manhwa and how much i resonate with it even more now that im older. my bestfriend likes someone else, and is pursuing someone else so i guess ive prolonged the eugene/yoojin arc? HAHAHA if its true i manifested this, then ig i brought it upon myself :")

damn its that manhwa trope again where the mc 'escapes' or goes somewhere and gets caught so they have to hide the fact they were going behind the ml's back and then the ml finds out eventually and it becomes a whole turning point in their relationship and the trust fades away and he becomes extra strict and abusve (god i hope not) and then and then and then... yeah. i hope not.
