To be honest. I am not satisfied with how the story ended with her family and Amaryllis. I feel like neither the family nor the high priest got a fitting ending. And Amaryllis, she just dies???? And her family loves her even after knowing she is a homunculus??? And they don't even want other people to know which is why everyone still has doubts about poor Ashtarte. This story is really boring.

I don’t think it’s boring, but I agree that priest getting off too easy and family staying trash till the end was very unsatisfying. I’m glad that she at least left them. I mean toxic family not changing for the better is fairly realistic, and then u have to leave them behind
Most of the gangster trope or in debt uke stories always has rape, toxic relationship and unnecessary violence. But this is one of the story where the seme is actually kinda cute, knows consent and doesn't treat uke like a toy or trash.

I mean Anitta's reason for wanting revenge is valid. Instead of the princess's story, I would have much more preferred to read Anitta's story. I think it would be more thrilling and I would certainly be rooting for her.

I agree but part of me also gets her stance. She was the one who built the empire and that family, so in her eyes, her revenge on the new generation is simply her taking back what she had already built. People are profiting off of her suffering and she has the power to reverse that, so she takes that chance.
