Okay wait this actually such a good way to represent male leads inner conflict. He obv has some built up trauma leading him to act the way he did before. But now with this curse he’s actually forced to confront his desires and true feelings. And let’s be tbh it’s not like he was perfect before, fml was feeling ignored which is what led to this whole ordeal. Also her devotion to lifting the curse and her excitement when he was “normal” again really proves that she did love him as he was.
