ppl hating mc for “being annoying” is so wild. god forbid someone that’s been abused and traumatized actually have lasting symptoms and show them. yes he’s frustrating, having anxiety, abandonment issues, low self esteem, depression and suicidal tendencies will kinda cause some problems. mc made some mistakes and said bad things, but everyone does, its called being human. what’s most important was that he was able to come out of this a better person and grow, and hopefully learn to treasure himself more. but anyways, they are super cute together and i wish them a happy married life together.

Where does this "so hwan was the one who killed his parents??" come from?
in the flashback when Chiwoo is about to leave, Hwan wishes that Chiwoo won't leave, which causes the bridge to collapse and thus killing his parents and all those people.. and also making Chiwoo come back to Hwan.
Does that count as him killing Chiwoo's parents? Hwan became a contractor of Moon only when he's a teenager, right? And not when they're still kids? And that goes with Chiwoo and Sunny too.
I've reread chap.40. Goodness, I think you're right, it's possible caused Hwan said "... as I've hope." Just like he's expecting it and really sure of it. So that means, it's possible that is his wish and it's granted even before he met Moony?
I'm a little bit confused because he said on chap.38 "I was scared because it seemed like you were trying to distance yourself from me... I felt like you were avoiding me... So when Moony showed up and offered to grant me a wish, I couldn't refuse." So I've been thinking, maybe he met Moony during teenage years and that the accident that happened on their childhood days is only a coincidence or something like that...

I finished this a while back, and recently I started thinking about it again. I know this was never intended to be a romance or a happy story, and I get that, yet I can't help but want them to have a happy ending together. "but they're horrible people! their relationship is abusive! they deserve to be in jail!" I've heard it all, but I still feel the same. call me naive, but I hate seeing people suffer through the entire story, only to gain nothing and die in the end (and don't @ me saying it's realistic, it's not). no, not every story has or needs a happy ending, but that doesn't mean someone can't wish for one or is wrong for wanting one. of course neither of them were good people, we understood that from the beginning. but characters don't have to be good for me to empathize with them, to want them to not suffer, to want them to find their own happiness. Sangwoo and Yoonbum were two broken souls seeking for something they lost or didn't have, and they found each other. so in the end, I do ship them together, not because I like the abuse or pain that happened, not because I think it's healthy, but because of what could have been, if the circumstances were different. in my head, I like to imagine them somewhere in a rural town away from people, lounging in a hammock together, finally content. do they deserve it? for me, it's not about if they deserve it or not, all I know is that - it makes me happy, so that's what I want. and honestly, it's up to the individual reader to decide what they feel towards the characters, so don't take this as me telling you what to feel, I'm just sharing my own feelings.

That's exactly what I think as well. I think they deserved to be happy together. I ofc don't like the abusiveness but u can tell they loved each other.
I ship Ritsu with Nao more than with Takano. Nao seems like he'd be nicer to him and they'd probably get along more; but, you know, just my personal opinion.
I love sekaiichi hatsukoi, but I wish Takano wasn't so possessive. like, every person Onodera even considers being friends with, Takano assumes all they want is to get in his pants, thus, it's really hard for Onodera to have friends. also I'm sad there aren't any moments where Takano and Onodera are actually laughing and having fun together, since that's important in relationships. idk, I'm just a big ball of romance.
i totally agree with you 100% like they have the same behavior in every chapter. jealousy insecurities like can there be some moments when they can just like have a good time no misunderstanding or etc just have a regular moment. i know they didn't know each other well since 10 years ago but ever since working together they should know each other well at least. takano does need to change his behavior
