How did her foot touch his leg when the table is in the middle of the room and each of the chairs are half a foot at least away from the edge of the table? I think the artists/authors messed up there. Not that this story is doing its best but it’s just baffling that they overlooked such an obvious mistake.

But the other angels are roaming the mortal plane. He will probably ascend and come back down. It’s not as strict as how humans go to heaven. Angels have free roam as long as they aren’t causing trouble in the human realm.
But it’s just roaming !!! they won’t live together ish and the shoe maker already lost his grandma and the angel’s family and every else forget his existence too( except these two dilfs) so both don’t really not being together isn’t okay
Well he could always become a guardian angel and even if he doesn’t. They are roaming which means they are currently living in the mortal realm. They have a place of residence. So he could just continue living with the shoe maker. It’s not really a big deal. Like I said, angels have free rein as long as they follow the rules.
How can Silas expect Arthur to open up when every time something inconveniences him, he always talks about ditching Arthur for someone more convenient? There’s no stability in their relationship and he expects Arthur to rely on him? Him whom is notoriously unreliable and flaky? I have to keep chanting to myself “if you feel pissed at a character, the author did a good job writing them.” But if I’m being honest, it’s not working at all. I hope Arthur ditches him for someone more reliable.
WHY IS THE BITE MARK ROUND?!? Author and artist needs to bite their arm or their leg. I can guarantee you, it’s not a circle. Not even a baby bite mark is a circle. It’s an oval shape and you only really get the front teeth so there won’t be any middle sections of the bite mark.

Same, it did look more like a circle (although not a perfect one like the ones shown in most of these stories). I didn’t bite down hard enough for it to hurt, though.

The douchebag is douche bagging cause he’s stupid and thinks she’s property so she was probably talking to a male about work things and laughed or smiled ONCE and he was all like “WHAT A BITCH?!?! DOES SHE NOT KNOW HOW GOOD SHE HAS IT WHEN I ABUSE HER?!?! I GIVE HER SO MANY LOVELY BREADCRUMBS ONCE EVERY TWO MONTHS!!! SHE WILL NEVER FIND BETTER THAN ME!!” So now that she has found better than him, he’s pissed cause he no longer has his perfectly trained toy.
Also, he’s totally a narcissist and I say this as a daughter of one who used this EXACT treatment of me when female teachers gave me affection knowing my home life was shit. She knew she was losing me so instead of doing better than the teachers, she doubled down and lost me for good now. He’s stupid so I doubt he’d figure it out BEFORE she absolutely destroys his entire career and livelihood for what is essentially stalking (chasing her to her job) and harassment both inside and outside the office. I think I also remember him hitting her or wanting to hit her so add on assault/attempted assault and that’s a perfect little arrest right there!
But why do they anger me so much? Also I love the baldwin family and all their staff but I HATE how they know she’s being bullied and instead of assigning a high ranking staff/soldier/bodyguard to her, they just send her off with one person and leave her alone in the wolves den. Also, the duke has no control over his vassals AT ALL. How can he be so negligent in his own duties? In every other story of dukes and my own knowledge of dukes since my country still has them, they do not tolerate vassals thinking they have the upper hand or the last say. The highest person of the land is the duke/viscount/count/etc and everyone else SERVES THEM! They may also be nobles but it’s like how the butler is a viscount but serving the duke. It’s the same principle. Dukes can and do kick vassals off of the land if they cannot respect that the duke is the number 1 of that land and nothing can override them other than the monarch. Also didn’t duke Baldwin in the first few episodes state that he’s the noble right under the king? Meaning he’s the HIGHEST RANKING NOBLE! Yet he acts like a doormat when it comes to his responsibilities. Such a hypocrite. What’s the point of having power if you never wield it for good? What’s the point of bringing someone in as an esteemed guest if you don’t protect them? The fact that the butler is cleaning up after the dukes neglectful actions towards our baby is horrifying. The duke should have taken her out as his “esteemed guest”. The fact that people look down on her is actually a reflection on how they look down on him and he’s hasn’t even battered an eyelash about it. In my country, the hierarchy of nobles is strict and there is such a thing as “noblesse oblige” meaning that people on the noble’s property or land would have to respect the land owner and their rules but it also means that noble’s had a responsibility to protect and safeguard and treat all those who grace their land (with good intention) with respect. Quite literally the obligation of a Noble person is to be mindful and respectful of those around them and that the strong (nobles) should protect the weak (commoners). This is a very very strict rule. To go against it is to announce yourself as a poor charactered and arrogant fool. The duke is utterly negligent in his duties despite how kind he may seem. And on top of being negligent, he never once explains stuff to her. I don’t like him.
Yeah he’s a loving parent, but a dumb and weak duke, or at least the author made he seems like it.
Captain will get fired. I hope he gets sued and fired. He was told that they should pull him out and he said “nah… keep him suffering!” And this is what happens. Someone else said that next chapter should be skipped if anyone is triggered by what we all can guess will happen next. I’ll be skipping it so if anyone who reads it finds out anything vital to the story in that chapter, please comment about it.
