Since they started talking about how brief human life is compared to an eternity I keep thinking of Blood Link, the way Bin kept taking photos of Gok because he thought it would be all he would have of him after his death was so sad and even after that when Gok turned into a full vampire and Bin kept feeling guilty. Even the side couple of Bin’s father and the grey haired lycan because he said he didn’t want to become a vampire because he had to meet with his brothers I will go reread for the nth time Blood Link lol

I avoid most horror related things because I’m a serious scaredy cat but this story is so good I just couldn’t stop myself from reading it and now with the chills I got from this last chapter I’m afraid I won’t sleep much tonight, was it worthy? I don’t know but the story is good and I feel bad for the blue dragon
You should try the painter that draws dungeons!! It’s rlly cute too with a side of horror (the MC is viewed as a monster but is actually so so cute)

And ngl I found it less scary than the ghost story one lol, Jio is so interesting as a character and I’m really enjoying the story, I think the next chapters will be a bit more intense as the sun god cult or whatever will happen. Ofc!! It’s one of my favorite at the moment I rlly wish there was more like that ngl… I like “I was possessed but it became a ghost story” too but it’s more of a slop historical “romance” with a nice twist (Mc viewed as a god/demon though she thinks she’s in a normal reincarnation story) rlly nice art style and nice story too if you’re okay with Mc that are a bit (very) oblivious. I personally read for the other ppl’s pov of her cuz it’s funny to see the difference. I like how she’s depicted as and all the misunderstanding.
BUT if you’re not into that historical fantasy thinggg there’s also another one that i recommend EVEN MORE it’s not horror but Mc is an ACTUAL CHILD (not a grown woman acting like a baby) who has necromancy magic and is captain of a band of adults lol it’s rlly endearing and sooooo good (not a slop lol) just get tissues if you have some daddy issues… like a little bit not rlly that angst rlly fun read and a bit more chapters it’s “a secretly capable child is seeking for her dad” BEAUTIFUL art style if you liked the painter who draws dungeon
