Not to be an asshole or whatever and ik people will disagree but this is my opinion as someone who’s read a lot of psychological literature and manga/hwas but this manhwa objectively speaking is not as good as people hype it up to be.
Ive seen people say it’s better/as good as Unchanged man by Jakpil and after reading it was very disappointed and honestly kind of annoyed that people would even compare the two. They both deal with equally obsessive partners but Unchanged Man is so incredibly well written compared to this.
The art is amazing but the writing isn’t the best and the story is very fast paced. Maybe i’ve been spoiled with slow burn fan fics from ao3 but this was very mellow.
I’m not sure if i’m the only one who thinks this way since i see people compare the bottom to Dohun (which i think is really confusing bc yeah they may be obsessive but Dohuns on an entirely different level) Idk. But anyways TW Opinion lmao. No hate just an observation from someone who writes and reads a lot!

Yohan may be more petty but he has more depth, he’s a very complex and well written character just as much as Jun, I’ve read the novel and yeah while the ml in this manhwa may be more forgivable(?) Yohan is written in a way where you don’t end up sympathizing with him, he was born weird and stays like that! Kind of like Ilay from Passion. Im pretty sure this manhwa is inspired by eighteens bed as tho though lmao. It’s kinda obvious that the writing for this isn’t as good as it is its counterpart. Doesn’t mean it isn’t good though but objectively speaking Eighteens bed is more well written, coming from a writer myself!
