I'd die in a ditch if i can see doyoon as a blond again
i feel like the weakest one here is the yakuza girl but seeing as how her friends aren't that concerned, then ig she got sumn up in her sleeve. She ain't a yakuza for nothing.
Also, I love how the trio friends can fight. I've read girl-centered action mangas before and there's always a bit of fan-service but this one does great without one at all. The girls are actually cute. Looking forward to this
idk about the siscon part but i like the fmc's character. she is cute
It's a great story but!!! why the siblings trope I don't rlly mind if there's no blood connection but there are other ways to connect these two characters without the label of step-siblings
og!sihyeon was so sweet. too bad he passed away, but I'm glad he found peace
it feels like a crime what red haired did to the friend.
pretty shitty of mc to avoid red hair guy after finding out he's gay but it's still no excuse for him to be forced to do sexual favors and be at the guy's beck and call. that's shittier.
Also, so sad we got robbed of this beautiful friendship. They're so tots adorable as teenagers!
I'm actually quite relieved that Ray didn't go irrational and managed to separate from accepting it happened to him and forgiving it. This kind of problematic thing is pretty evident in the genre of romance—especially toxic ones—and has been swept under the rug multiple times. You don't know how many ukes or protagonists had gone fucking dumb from either sheer naivety or love and excused the horrible things that happened to them. Just no. Just because it's how things go, it doesn't make it right.
Then again, Ray also became the “abuser” at some point given that shock of a news that he once laid with a young boy. The boy's age doesn't matter, it's the fact Ray had maybe frightened some innocents into servicing him in bed and karma is now letting him know the taste of being in the receiving end. Ray may be our protagonist that gets the short end of the stick and forced to face horrifying shit after being reduced into a mere slave in times where royalty is worshipped like gods, he wasn't exactly a good person either. But, it's how Ray is learning, albeit not shown evidently, that makes his character complex. Hopefully, he'll grow.
I'm not defending his actions, but it just makes his character interesting. Jiskar, on the other, is another whole level of miserable (in a bad way lol). Or maybe that's just my bias opinion seeping through
i feel like I've climbed the highest mountain and finally reached the top. we're back to the present yay
is jiskar a horny teenager high on hormones? he can't seem to keep his hands to himself in the most inappropriate timing
gondamn, ik it's treated as lighthearted and maybe it's done as a playful thing but Dami's constant treatment of Doha as a frail sick person and insistent preaching to Joon on how he should take care of Doha better blah blah are making me want to rip my hair off hhaha. I'm so glad Joon grew a spine and is a bit intimidating.
Dami, barely a friend, has no right to continuously devalue Joon's efforts and love for his sole relationship with Doha to the point he even made Joon think he is at fault for making Doha sick after a rain shower. This guy is utterly spoiled and ignorant who never apologized. Doha should tell him off but it seems like he isn't offended by the harrassment to his own boyfriend ffs. A dude like this ain't loveable, just insufferable.
well, another obsessed handsome guy w dimples bit the dust. Bummer, he glowed down in college
Holy mother of fucking god. Ray's wit and confidence is so unbelievable that it's so sexy. Just when you think he's a dumbass at times, he's actually hiding his claws and waiting to pounce, like, in a way you wouldn't expect. The story will only deteriorate if he ended up with that piece of shit of an emperor by the end. I didn't like him from the start and I only put up with him bc I wanted to see how the story progresses with such a dazzling MC.
Honestly, a mary stu MC that continuously keeps showing how amazing they are against the same old tricks from stupid villains can be exhausting. But this story actually executed it well with the emperor (who may or may not be the endgame) being a semi-villain is interesting and I just love how MC is surprising us w how intelligent he is. I also like how the sex scenes aren't being shown much compared to the beginning
My only complaint and worry is that the creator will have the emperor be the endgame but I'm here for the action and battles nonetheless
Ch. 5 Soma to Wataru: "I want to be your boyfriend but I'm still in love with him."
Ch. 6 Yoshida to Wataru: "Wataru's simply honest."
Ch. 6 Soma to Yoshida: "The moment I asked Wataru out was when I finally moved on from you."
Ffs, which should I fucking believe in. Soma's indecisive
doyoon is so fine in all versions<3 pls, this webtoon is spoiling me w so many updates, it's making me scaredT.T
