this started out promising but the plot didn’t flow well into the resolution and felt like it was a totally different story somewhere down the road. plus the porn took severaaaal chapters that i had to skip it bc it was all the same
the doodle on the last page says that shuu named the dog hawks “because grandpa is a fan of softbank”
softbank is the biggest telecom company in japan and they have a pro baseball team called fukuoka softbank hawks
just giving a bit more context why hayashi called matsuya “yoshinoya”:
as mentioned by the translator, yoshinoya is a fast food chain in japan. matsuya is basically its competitor, since both are known for gyudon and are in the same price range
idk if someone already commented this before, but let me just put it out here!
in ch. 5, hirayama nii san says “how blue”:
青春 (seishun) is the kanji for “youth” or “adolescence”. it contains blue (青 “ao”) and spring (春 “haru”), which alternatively could be read as “ao haru” to have the nuance that youth is the best time of your life (e.g meeting friends, having your first love, etc.). if you know the shoujo manga/anime ao haru ride (or blue spring ride in english) this is where its name comes from.
angst was almost non existent for the first couple bc they doubled it and passed it to the next one
not usually keen on guideverse BUT THIS WAS JUST SO PEAK!!! the jesus allegory?? the i love you in every universe?? chef’s kiss !!!!
1. jaehyuk are u a dog????? what are those bite marks
2. nawt me trying to stretch my legs like garam’s feet-pinning-head move
i really really like this kind of plot where yk it’s mutual but they’re just dancing around each other flirting !!!! *chef’s kiss*
this is one of the rare times i comment on people calling this as “pedo” media, but honestly this sort of parasocial behavior from some fans is getting so out of hand that you’d actually bully/harass someone…just for…a drawing…
plus if you’re reading any literature and expect a something that is 100% legally or morally aligned, sorry, but that’s a recipe for boredom
