i love crime-mystery so much and we rarely see a case focus yaoi but god leon is really annoying to me. you don’t have any right to be jealous if you put yourself in an open relationship (that almost exclusively one sided). currently in chapter 21 and i hope leon is like rian from bad apple where he sleeps with people for information because he is secretly an agent or something. that would make me less irritated but still hates the whole concept. i would feel better if benjamin decided to sleep with someone else as well.

And then he confessed to detective that he wants to get better for him , someone he can rely on , someone who perfectly matches together.
What else do you need now ? People can change and you have to accept them when they try to get better.Leon has a painful past he doesn't talk about. You don't know about his side of the truth.

Leon was more focused on being “special” to Ben cuz that’s how he regarded Ben, so when the ex came and knew more about Ben, Leon felt that his “special” role was being taken. atp he sees relationships and sex as a casual noncommittal thing which is why Ben saw it that way. And I’m pretty sure there’s a reason to him being promiscuous and his view on relationships.
But he stopped sleeping around. Even Ben brought up “what if it’s a temporary thing and u get bored and regret it” so they both considered that and Leon still cut it off.
gonna drop this bcs although the art is gorgeous i can’t stand the cheesy and cliche plot they are going for. nothing infuriates me more than an external conflict who his whole reason is as shallow as “i just want to see him fall down” be so fucking for real. just such a lazy execution
we all know jin has high functional autism (even tho still not a great portrayal of it but it’s on a decent side since the bar is in hell) but i have a feeling the story won’t acknowledge that he is because that would require a responsibility for portraying them correctly, which in this story he is still a very “fictional romance” autistic.
to those who played the game would know how shamelessly “inspired” this webtoon is by cyberpunk. arasaka as “hammond”, ripperdoc as “little doc”, netrunner as what was it just hacker? side effect of the awakened is also has the same concept with cyberpsychosis. but honestly i am all for it just because it has alpha x alpha without rape and with beefy bottom (so far following the translation. hopefully it stays like that). the world building does get a bit too cringe for my taste but eh whatever.
what a great love story, tackling complex moral dilema with great twist, art, message, action, smexy scene. literally everything. we rarely get this type of webtoon.
