His guard is just a little lower since he somewhat realizes that the emperor isn’t the same as the Parallel other emperor. He’s not all down bad and madly in love like other ukes, he’s actually testing this emperor on his actions and then deciding. If I was in the mc position, I would still give the current emperor a chance since he’s nothing like the other one.

Their distance triggered it. When Tina came back, physical and intimate contact still couldnt be done because it was logical to think that u aint supposed to bother a sick person.. it became even worse when Tina travelled around places to look for a way to break the curse.. they might have zero to no intimacy at this point as OG Theo has become more sick.. this led to them never finding out the real cure. The problem now is..
