got to ch.8 before tbh everything got super fucking unappealing as a story. you're trying to tell a story with dark undertones but downplay the utter bullshit that the dad is pulling. yea i understood nuance in his behavior is bc of his circumference but fuck that shit bc why is this "oh i adopted a kid and make them act for me but I'm not going to respect or treat them as a child and expects them to perform their best for me but I'm still a good character guys, I'll bond with her later" LIKE WHAT??? fuck that man. yea you can love the story for that but I can't stand that shit. dropped.
