Idk if I just can’t connect but can someone explain the relationship between ed and Chang and why Chang is the way he is towards ed? Is his distaste only cause ed used to pretend to be his stepbrother? And how did Glenn really feel about Demi didn’t understand the turn in ed and Glenn’s relationship
It looked to me like Chang didn’t want to admit he was in love with Ed. When we get a glimpse of Chang’s perspective it is revealed that after Ed had a car accident in his youth and was in a hospital- Chang, afraid of his feelings became very cold and harsh on Ed. He even said he didn’t want Ed to be his one weakness- hence he had to kill his feelings off. Looks like he was dealing with internalised homophobia and unwanted lust towards Ed even when they were still friends. And just like his only living family, his grandma rejected him- Chang also rejected Ed because he believed he didnt need anyone and that family was unimportant.
