Can someone explain the texting fiasco? I feel so dumb rn I just don't understand why both of them were texting each other but didn't get the texts before MC's phone died

I've got a question, for the real freaks out there. Is urethral sounding really that common in rough play/bdsm? I see it all the time in BL manhwas in particular, especially the ones that have more explicitly bdsm dynamics, but I'm not sure whether it's just something that is trendy in manhwas or it's really that common.

It's one of the few things I really have to skip through in manhwas cuz it really makes me uncomfortable. I think it's because I once had a really bad bladder infection, and though I'm sure it isn't the same sensation, I just can't avoid associating it with that

Too bad. A side couple would have brought some time to breathe in the manhwa, between one tragic main couple moment and the other.

I can see a dynamic where Dam-yi would fall first, and slowly but surely teaching Moonwo that love can be kind and warm too, not just painful and unrequited, making him fall harder. Moonwo would also show Dam-yi what it means to be loved back with devotion and not used.

Like, I need some uncomplicated healing and safe yearning in this manhwa, please!

I don't understand. Maybe I am too weak-minded. But if you love him so much, you would also want for him to do well in life. He's not weak, but the people around him think so or use the fact that he's an omega to bring him down for business tactics. So you stepping down is not a measure of his strength, or capabilities, but a coalition for him to be free and with your help to conquer his space in this world. Why would you let him struggle if you can help? How is help a weakening factor in any way?
I know it doesn't correlate to this story and that this is a manhwa not real life, but it kind of reminds me of the men who think that fighting for women's equality doesn't concern them "you wanted equality so now (while I ignore the all the hardships that are on your path to even reach my same level of social-economical status) work on your own to be freed of the stigmas men place on you daily".
I know it's not exactly the same logic, but c'mon bro, being in love doesn't mean seeing them as heroes, but wanting to be there for them, just like they are for you. He literally saved your mf life.

Are the umbrellas an allegory of their characters in their budding relationship? Pitch black, couldn't see the seme's eyes (the ones that better express your intentions and therefore reveal yourself), so mysterious. And then uke's umbrella is literally transparent, you can see everything he's feeling and the way he reasons.
It could be the way the seme sees him, since all the other characters in the story seem to find it hard to wrap their heads around the uke, while he seems to understand more about him than the uke himself (with also the suspect that he might actually be an omega and not a beta). While it seems like all the other characters really know the seme and understand all the little facets of his personality.
Also, as readers, we know a lot about the uke's backstory and what he feels for the seme and the way he sees the world. While we have very limited information regarding the seme. We've just come to know his origins and ethnicities, and the way he acts towards uke is so unexpected at times.
With this being a story revolved around art, I wouldn't be surprised if this detail was intentional and not just unconsciously inserted.

I understand that with Kim Dan being inexperienced, Jaekyung's actions may seem worse, but even if they had 1000+ partners before you, that's still no way to treat anyone, especially a sexual partner. The consent was given at the beginning, but when it was withdrawn Jaekyung ignored it, which is not how consent works. And him being a manipulative and violent jerk in day to day life doesn't help his case.
What I mean is that him realizing he was awful to Kim Dan, just because Kim Dan was inexperienced and had a tough life is kinda iffy, cause you shouldn't treat ANYONE like that

You're still in college, you and the other conceiver are not in a good and stable relationship, you're not rich o higher middle class, you're still very immature and not in a good state of mind currently; you might give the child a good enough life if you completely dedicate your life to them and you're lucky, but that's not a given, and you're still giving up the life you're building up to.

Fraudulently took all that money from orphan kids, yet said kids had to eat scraps and share poorly kept overcrowded rooms. Also, picking "A-list orphans", only to keep the shady tactics going, and leaving the poor orphans without inheritance on the street, shows that it was never about helping vulnerable kids. He would have helped kids of different class backgrounds equally otherwise.

It's technically not a movie, but picture this:

Dajeong as Tuxedo Mask
Haneul as Sailor Mercury

Honestly, I really appreciate Ibeom for pushing Jungoh to try different life paths instead of just "settling down" in a family business. It's always great to try and learn new things, and you might actually find something else you like.
However, unless you have a clear ambitious work objective, I don't think corporate life is better than family business life, especially if you like the job, there's a solid business foundation, the retribution seems much more than liveable and the work-life balance is good. And Jungoh, may seem blindly in love with Ibeom, but he's still a business major, he knows what to expect and if there's a future in what he's doing.
Also, there's nothing wrong with wanting a more "ordinary" life. Just because you're excellent at something it doesn't mean you can only live by trying to climb the ladder.
