It might be that you're just overly sensitive to the smell of their deodorant since you sit right next to them for some time. I literally just connected the dots between Frog and Toad. I was reminiscing on how much I loved the book and their dynamic inside it, when I was younger, when something in my head clicked. A quick Google search confirmed all I needed to know. Now I know where it all started from.
