Still confused why Neveah is called "the shame of Solene". Is it because she dropped her engagement? She is daughter of former maid, who is now married to her father, and is a legitimate child. But her younger sister who is illegitimate, daughter of unknown mother probably a maid too, is NOT called "the shame of " despite her illigitimacy.
I'm not sure where and when I read it but I think it was mentioned that her being looked down on by other nobles and regarded as shameful was because her father was open about his neglect/disapproval of her. Being the child of a maid played a part in that as well, but certain petty people (from maids to other nobles) will run their mouths when the only people that can forcefully retaliate against that kind of slander don't give a damn.
Yes, but what about her sister who is not even legitimate. I understand that their father loves the girl more because Neveah reminds him of being forced to marry her mother, but why society is looking down on Neveah (daughter of maid but legitimate) and pretty chill with he sister (not even legitimate)
Confused now. I though Noveah was a maid's daughter, an illegitimate one, that was acknowledged by her father as legitimate and then married off. Thats why he barely supported him. And second child, was legitimate one and his heir. However, it says that Noveah is legitimate one and younger one is illegitimate. And their father hated Noveah because her mother, the Marchionne, tricked him into marrying her. However, regardless of hate, a noble usually can't disintegrate a legitimate child in favor of illegitimate one.
Naveah is a daughter from the main that the father was in love with but bcs she was born from a commoner the father got a lot of criticism and hate that ruined his life so he hated naveah for being born bcs he had to experience a lot of criticism and hate from other ppl and thats why his life went to ruined bcs of her being born. The marchioness did trick him into marrying him but it didnt stop him from loving the real daughter bcs ig he thinks his real daughter is better than a daugther of a maid but it doesnt mean he loves the marchioness or anything
(correct me if im wrong tho im not 100% sure abt everything i said, its all just from my understanding)
I do know that in the noble society, it takes a whole lot to disinherit a legitimate child in favor of illegitimate younger one. It would be a huge scandal in a noble society, possibly requiring king's permission. It doesnt matter if Noveah is married off, since her younger sister will be eventually married off too. It would be different story if one was male and another a female.
I don't recall him disinheriting her, besides marrying her off to Wistrash which was a total 'valid' move in noble society. And if he did disinherit her, it probably was before her sister even existed or he could've just made up some bullshit about Neveah being trash and booting her. He also has not explicitly announce her sister as sole heir or that he was choosing one over the other.
After reading 100+ chapters, I still can't figure out why the official synopsis says evil stepbrother used to be MC's jilted girlfriend in past life. Past life? Reincarnation into male to get revenge? If someone who read the full novel where does explanation of official synopsis with reincarnation is explained?
I have a very strong suspicious that MC will purify ML. In previous chapter that isekai "saint" wanted to replace/posses MC because in the novel she read when this happens to ML only a saint/powerful mage can purify ML. But since we know MC has "main character" mystery magic skills and was secretly raised by 3 superpowerful fairy godmother (her "maids"), the MC should easily be able to purify ML

I am curious, In the last 300+ chapters did Iruma ever bleed? I am pretty sure he did and not one of the demons ever had such drastic reaction to his blood. Does it mean Iruma is not (fully) human or human at all?
i don't think he ever bled, since he has that extreme dodging ability which helps him not get hurt
he did but not intentionally, he used his blood to heal the child of the king of the valley during the flight exam (firs few chapters). also he used his blood to grow the niginigi weed during the harvest festival arc (if i remember correctly, nafra-san [the smelly member of the student council] was near him) and on both of those times none of the demons near him really tried to eat him up. the only time he was in danger was during the waterpark chapter with ameli
ooh i forgot about it, you're right ^^
Then if the last two chapters depict the REAL reaction of demons to human blood, then Iruma is NOT human. Maybe half? Even if he has Demon King soul, it should not affect desirability of his blood to demons. And Sullivan totally knows it, otherwise he would not put Iruma to school. He maybe the one who placed Iruma with his "parents" also.
