where was his mom when he was kidnapped for days?
He wasn't kidnapped for days but just a few hours, likely why he rationalizes it as an incident rather than kidnapping. The guy kept him in the backseat all the time and never touched him sexually or hit him. Then he just let him go. So he went home and never told his mom about it just compartmentalized it and left it at that. His mom is a horrible mother.
Wait.. Wasn't it two days. I just reread and he say he went missing for two day and no one realised he's gone. Do correct me if I'm wrong please.
I remember it was sunday when he check his phone when he safely arrive at home.
So it happen during weekends, so of course none of his classmates would realised he went missing.
And yeah, what's wrong with his mother to not call his own son at all or at least once a day even if she's on a trip(or business trip)
Ah, yes. I went back and reread it, he was gone for two days. But we see it from his perspective so it does not look like a lot of time has passed bc he is out of it from drugs that the guy put in the drink he offered MC. Eventually the only reason he got away was bc he acted like the guy had accidentally overdosed him. And yes, neither his mom or grandma called him.
There is also a prior chap where they are doing a radio show and they were reading people's submissions and one of the group member's calls out the writer's parents to be abusive bc they were neglectful. He said physical abuse isn't the only form of abuse and MC kind of breaksdown crying bc it was the first time he realised what he got from his mom was a form of abuse. Then we see a throwback where his mom leaves him a card for food and he buys ramen. When she calls him, she says don't waste it, it is food expenses for three months. So I'd have to assume she left her middle school aged child alone at home for long stretches of time. And the group member also said in the radio show that if they were in the US the parents would be arrested which would also be true for MC's mom being highly neglectful and endangering a child when he got kidnapped.
how do you pronounce muheun? "moo-hoon" or 'moo-hyoon" ?
Korean names only have 2 - 3 syllables, the first one always containing their last name which is in our mc’s name is Kim. Also Korean alphabet is extremely straight forward. Mu is one syllable with a single character for each letter and for Heun, it exactly has three characters from the korean alphabet, ‘h’ and ‘eu’ which is considered a single letter or basically you treat it as another type of vowel and ‘n’ . So you read it as Kim Moo Hhun.
Heun and Hun sounds different, hun is like a Hooon and heun is like when saying the un in undetermined. Yeah yeah
chase's parents are a loving couple in "lick me if you can" novel, but how come chase grew up badly? loving parents don't make loving home for their children?
Did you read the side stories?
Because most of their kids are extreme alphas and at least 3 presented too early, so problems with emotions/ no emotions. It looks like Grayson and his twinsister already had purple yes when they were born. And Chase was one who presented late, so he got emotions.
Koi as is looks like was unable to handle all the kids. And Ashley was busy. After an incident where Grayson, who was a small kid, made something to eat with spoilt food, gave it to his dad Koi to eat and Koi got sick. Ashley almost killed Grayson. After that they sepetated Koi from the children, and Ashley handled them.
With Grayson and Chase the main probem is Grayson's way of " helping". When Grayson decides/ tries to help someone, he does what "he thinks" will help which doesn't mean that it really helps the other person. Even worse it can often hurt or damage someone (happened to Chase). I think it was worse when they were kids, because at that time Grayson wasn't taught to read emotions by teachers. But he still has problem though.
And it's not just Grayson, his twinsister is as bad with Chase. And Nathaniel is emotionless too.
Yes, but there is not much the kids could do, they have been born like this. Probably they where just too many in such a short amount of time (whatever possessed them to have 6 kids if it could become that problematic...), which were emotionless.
The partners they have found most likely got it under controle later. The only one of them who can have the same problems with his own kids is Grayson^^, because I think he is the only one of them who will have an extreme partner. But since his partner will be Dane, I think is could be different.

the ending is kinda similar to netflix alice in wonderland
