I mean we're basically told after the fact that it was good and they both enjoyed it, but during the plays, neither the visuals nor dialogue paint a clear enough picture as to whether things are going well or if one of them is actually genuinely upset or being pushed too far which just makes me kinda stressed the whole time rather than really getting into it and being on board with what they're doing
Communication needs to be separated from DS play (especially for this couple with where they are in the early stages of their relationship), something I HOPED they learned last time when the dom pushed the sub into genuine distress because he used his domination rp to be all passive aggressive about his feelings AND HES FUCKING DOING IT AGAIN

It's one thing to do a jealous partner rp with full informed consent from both parties, but that's not what this was. The play was bondage and the jealousy isn't being roleplayed. It's real and making him act like a dick and do things that his partner may or may not have agreed to in a stable state of mind & body (...not that he's even properly asking/communicating how this "play" goes even in the moment but whatever). And ANSWERING HIS PHONE??? That is a violation on soooo many levels (and is a personal pet peeve of mine since it happens in wayyy too many manga for actually no reason)

But real people (some very young and impressionable) read this and internalize this kind of shit
And this manga in particular is pretty indepth on a lot of the aspects of bdsm stuff so it's not hard to imagine someone buying into it 100%

But I do agree that starting a roleplay when their last conversation ended on such a clear miscommunication that they needed to talk about was a bad move. Any other kind of play would have been better but a roleplay specifically and intentionally blurs the lines of communication. I'm just glad they got there in the end.
But the fact that despite making the judgment error (imo) of starting a roleplay instead of a serious conversation, the dom was still flexible and willing to listen and receptive to his partner. He genuinely didn't know how anxious Hoseob was until he broke down like that. Since Hoseob was happy with their relationship and didn't think they were together in a committed romantic relationship, the dom incorrectly assumed he was happy just being fuck buddies.
But as soon as he realized how anxious Hoseob had been, he ~*.✧apologized✧｡*ﾟ+~

But idk she doesn't have to get married. Bargain to have her visit the different lands or something, but keep her safe until she's grown enough to find a husband and marry properly (...and also keep her to benefit your own kingdom)

The FUCKING AUDACITY of her mother in law to be like "yeah I know you like saved our kingdom from ruin and famine, but we don't have famine anymore so without a baby, you're kinda just a useless woman who will be cast out if you're husband dies"
And then her sister in law being like "yeah I know you haven't even had you're coming of age ceremony yet, but since you haven't gotten teen pregnant yet, people (me) are gonna start saying you're infertile. You should let your husband sleep with my BFF"
So not only was she sent away as a child, it feels like she was sent somewhere no one likes her or supports her despite being married into this family for over a decade (and ya'know, saving their whole ass country from famine)
I'm sure this story is going somewhere and it probably isn't that bad, but I don't think I'm gonna stick around. It feels like what I just read is saying "If you're a woman, it doesn't matter if you're our kingdom's saviour. You're just a piece of meat with an empty womb."

Omfg when the police let him out to pee?? I was rolling my eyes soooo hard. It felt so ridiculous. The "I need to pee" trope works with incompetent kidnappers, but police have procedures?? They were almost at the station. The answer should have been "you can pee in your cell." And if he were to just piss on the seat, it is not the end of the world. The back of a police car (in my experience) doesn't have upholstery or anything. They aren't going to let someone out whether they're pissin', shittin', or barfing. They are literally build to detain the unruly.

He's not just "running away". He said it himself -- he's looking for some space. Some time to cool off.
He is uncomfortable with certain aspects of their relationship. He puts distance between them and then communicates. And instead of listening and thinking and growing, Jaehyuk gets angry and lashes out. EVERY FUCKING TIME.
He is genuinely so immature, it's ridiculous.
Garam is reacting due to unhealed past trauma, yes. He needs to grow and heal but ultimately, the way he's acting is totally reasonable. But Jaehyuk genuinely acts so spoiled and reckless, it's ridiculous.
His behavior is genuinely concerning and it's really refreshing that Garam is speaking up about it, because he cares about Jaehyuk.
They haven't been together that long and their start was rough, but Jaehyuk is literally willing to throw every part of his life down the toilet if it means being with Garam. That's scary. That's self destructive. That's not healthy.
Even the way he phrases it, telling Garam he threw away job opportunities and cut off his family all for him. That's so uncomfortable and saddening and burdensome.
Jaehyuk neeeeeeds to get his head on straight (exhibit A: the title lol) because if Garam is going to let himself heal and be close to someone, that person needs to be stable with healthy connections. In a relationship, you want to be able to build a life up together and you never want to feel like you're dragging your partner down to your level.
