I’m so confused about the plot now… MC used to be so determined and intelligent and now he’s just… an airhead??? Like I don’t get it. He got amnesia and forgot about the last couple of years, sure. No, he doesn't have autism. It was mentioned in the novel that he was checked if he had any kind of disorder, and the result was negative.
That was actually OCD which is a different disorder. It has never been confirmed that he has autism but he has all of the symptoms and his reactions are understandable when you know a bit about autism. He clearly isn't neurotypical because many neurodivergent people relate to him while neurotypicals think he is being annoying.
