Like, this series isn’t some smut-no-plot manwha. It’s a serious plot that is intentionally making us view seem as an asshole. This isn’t the story to say “don’t read if you don’t like r*pe.” Regardless, get your knives.
Jinx is also similar in that aspect where the creator wants us to view Jaekyung as an asshole. He crosses a lot of lines, but everyone is waiting for the redemption ark (even the haters).
Chapter 29 changes a lot of things for this manhwa though, don't you think? He's doing irreparable damage. Many readers (including myself) overlook dubcon and even rape because it's so commonplace in yaoi. But seme is pimping and hitting and it's just beyond uncomfortable now. For me it's quickly entering territory worse than pwp manhwas. Mostly because I feel cheated. I don't mind No reason or An easy target because I knew what I was getting in from chapter 1, right?
Right! In this story, I was expecting some uncomfy tension between them or even dubcon, because neither party are going after each other for love at the moment. But I truly wasn’t expecting something this unforgivable. Even in Jinx, Jaekyung would be able to have a redemption arc, though not a favourable one, he was more on the line of dub-con. As for the ML of this story, it was complete and utter r*pe. If it was some ugly character, people would treat it way worse, but since it’s ML, people are fine.
Regardless, I’m hating on a fictional character, it’s just sad that a lot of good plots turn this way.
I mean, how tolerant you are of crazy actions can be influenced by where someone ranks on scale of attractiveness (even outside of fiction and in real life).
And nah, we're not hating, it's just frustrating to see wasted potential.

Seriously. I feel bad for Ray and all, but for some reason, where the heck is the support for Kyle? He was literally kidnapped, developed Stockholm syndrome,found out his brother is (probably) dead, he is wanted, has super powers! I read some of the Rae’s (unfortunelu , I only understand English and Japanese so i do not know the contents of the Rae’s other than the images) and everyone just thinks of Kyle as Ray it treats him badly.
I’m so sad that it ended and didn’t show more of our dear Tutor’s past, but it was an amazing story and journey to go through. Thanks, author
