I’ve reread the novel for this no less than 5x. I really like the novel and it’s a relatively light/slice of life-y read compared to other chinese novels.

But is it just me? I want to hear the others’ opinions on this. I’ve also always thought that fl and ml doesn’t have the greatest chemistry. Don’t get me wrong, they’re cute together but I’ve always felt that there’s something lacking in their relationship. In fact, I felt like Feilu has better chemistry with Xi Xingjiang. Maybe because ml doesn’t have a lot of screen time in the beginning of the story, and the fact that the novel (at least in the beginning) isn’t really centered on romance? I’m curious if I’m the only who feels this way. What do you guys think?

As someone who has read the novel for this… about 10x, I’m reluctant to read the manhua as it might not do the novel justice. Ofc this story isn’t perfect, but the novel has such an endearing quality to it. Her hair in the manhua alone is different from the novel which has a green tinge bc it has to do with her origin and her bio mom. But in here, it’s cotton candy pink/blue, idk how they’re gonna explain it.

An interesting story has appeared! I hope she takes the Firentia route!

I know fl and ml are gonna unconditionally love each other bc of course they’re the main leads, but I can’t help but remember all the other rebirth stories we have here. Like their dynamic is giving the cliché Noah used her on her past life and made her believe he truly loves her to become the emperor but at the end of her life it’s revealed that he is actually betraying her the whole time and then she will be given another chance at life and she will exact her revenge haha (there’s so mamy stories like this w/ very forgettable titles, I can’t even name one lmao). Idk i just don’t like Noah’s constant mentioning of his need to be healed by the power that only she has w/ full affection (++ the way he fell for her is so instant even if this has later supernatural explanation)

For this story specifically, it’s just so easy to look at the other characters’ perspective… like the previous comment said, even the villainess seems redeemable if this was like other villainess centric story. But ig I will continue reading just to know what will happen? Also, her brothers are super cute towards her and I like that the dad obviously loves his sons too.

Why was Noah giving manipulative red flag energy when he was asking fl to help him?? I’m not a big fan of their dynamic… is this going to change?

love the story… and it also refreshed my belief of how much of a trash men really are. none, and i mean ABSOLUTELY none of the men here are even a tiny bit likeable… but i guess the ml will have a change of heart later in the story.

I feel so bad for Milan… he deserves to be love by Livia, I’d argue even more than the ml!! But still, I like the leads together. Sorry guys but I think this is why reverse harem is superior lol Why choose one and hurt the others when you can have them all?

I wish it’s a reverse-harem ending… but really, after everything she went through, it makes more sense for her to just end it all. Also, if only 1 of em can be the ml, why not rex??! AAAAAAAAAA

I rarely feel bad for mcs anymore, im so desensitized w/ the same old plot/tropes that it became routine to just get over their horrible pasts but i genuinely felt bad for her, she’s just a poor baby

I like the story and she has a very reasonable personality for the situation she’s put in… aka transmigrating but the thing that i HATE is her outfits why do they always dress her like she’s pushing 60?? they’re so unflattering. she’s so pretty i bet she’ll look good with more flattering dresses and hairstyles. I can’t stop noticing her styling, it’s quite awful, im sorry not sorry
