the way the plot gradually unfolds and we're having things revealed to us with each gameplay is rly fun. honestly wish we could skip the sex scenes bc i just wanna know what happens next

ive read some chn translations and when i tell you this is already one of my top BLs..the writing is SO FUCKING GOOD and the characters are both very interesting, especially Brett who is actually very hard to read + strategically/playfully (?) manipulative despite presenting as your typical jock. meanwhile hayden is very grounded who can read the situation but def has a crazy streak...its another rare couple that doesn't fall into classic BL stereotypes. it's a shame ppl complain about it being hard to understand bc i think it's pretty easy to understand that the story is about the actual reality of ABO ie. animal instincts and whether you decide to embrace them or not even if they risk harming someone. also ACTUAL AlphaxAlpha animalistic violent sex yumyumyum so many supposed Alpha/alpha stories end with the bottom "alpha" acting like an omega, whereas here Brett is sooo alpha and confident all the way through. there are actual developing feelings and chemistry between them too arrrggghhh its just sooo good. deserves to be super popular
the writing sucks, the pacing and plot sucks.
its an interesting concept, but the execution was terrible
like the series is really funny but it also deals pretty sensitively with trauma/sex addiction/etc like i think the top is trying so hard rn to be sensitive and empathetic, and it's so endearing! at the same time the bottom responding defensively to what might feel patronizing to him is also realistic. also i like that neither are falling into really boring personality tropes where the top is just "saving" this fragile bottom, they're both well fleshed out characters with a lot of personality. i'm really enjoying this so far!
i feel like the author just wants to end the story immediately and is rushing through things probably to get back to the main series (WHYYYY i'm sure she realizes the side couple is more popular?! :() a lot of things are unresolved and the character development could have been WAY more nuanced instead of her relying on kind of absurd situations to push the development along (sorry the whole dh pushing sw making sw crack his head is ridiculous like you're telling me suddenly dh is SO strong? when in the past sw was the one throwing him around even when dh tried to fight back?)
it's honestly such a shame bc we rarely get these types of character archetypes, and we NEVER get these two types of characters together:
- an ACTUAL bratty bottom who is also usually dominant/tyrannical as hell (so it's more delicious when he's being pushed around and "tamed" lol) but weirdly pure and straightforward when he likes someone, while also being dominant about it (him being like "why don't you just like me" LOL)
- a top who is nice to everyone but who also changes partners weekly so usually treats everyone kindly but with some placid distance and is kind of uninvested; and then dohyeok bringing out all his sadistic and meanest side but also an uncharacteristic frustration when he's usually so easygoing
sorry i could talk about sihyeok forever it's just sad that there's SOOO much more potential i wish i could read 200 more chapters of them....
fr. like at this point I feel like it woulda been better if the author had given these 30 chapters to jiwoon and suha while the main story shoulda been bout these two cuz DAYUM the dynamics and the toxicity and everything is just so well written. wish it coulda been longer man :C

Sassy guy like DH who used to be bratty pretentious top n experimented all types of S*x could become SUBMISSIVE BOTTOM for someone.
WHereas Siwoo usually is so tender while having *ex with his partner but he is always so AGRESSIVE with DH.
Change of their personality after meeting with each other is something we hardly found in any BL manga.
The story is new n refreshing and far better than the main couple.
I wish writer will go for Full Manhua only for SIHYEOK. It'll be interesting to read their story by uncovering all layers of emotions.

The author probably thought the side story wouldn't be successful bc a lot of people hated DH but boy were they wrong lol. I think on one of their Twitter posts the author mentioned that they intended it to be short but they kept adding more chapters. Now a lot of people dont want the sidestory to end and want 100 more chapters especially showing their domestic life.
please DO write about sihyeok more. i always love seeing your comments here! (i agree with you 100% and i'm gonna miss them so much)

ive read the most recent chapters.,,,even though i'm happy that we might be getting a happy ending, i still think it's pretty badly written lol. like sw suddenly being ok with dh despite getting his head cracked open (which was stupid to begin with)? dh becoming coy and babygirl is excellent but i think there could have been more transition there...idk like going from this most recent translated chapter to the raw is so jarring. its like a forced happy ending for me tbh, like what happened to the footage/grey hair guy? suha's friendship? are they ever gonna talk about dh's trauma and how sw knows? to think that this is all ending in one chapter is INSANE
I'm pretty sure this is not close to an ending tbh. It's true there was A LOT of stuff it needed to be solve but the most important one to start was dohyeok changing. My theory is that now that he's gonna start to properly chase siwoo, siwoo will still be conflicted and they'll start working around that and lastly we'll see the appearance of the ex friend bc it's kinda a background issue
My main problem is him being send abroad, maybe they'll do a time skip with dohyeok being better, siwoo already having a change of pace and more open abt accepting dohyeok..(?) The story didn't need grandma's intervention with all thats going on already
see i totally agree that the story is not at all close to being finished but the author said that it was ending next week on her twitter LOL which is why i think the writing is very shoddy with so many things unresolved. all the plot points you lay out are ones i'd love to see too :/

say what you want about dohyeok but i adore how strong he is haha, during those previous scenes where siwoo left him alone after sex we all thought dohyoek would be hurt and lonely BUT it turns out dohyeok wasn't feeling pitiful and lovelorn for himself he was just immediately scheming as to how to get siwoo LOL. queen!! but he's also so silly, like he really was like "wow.....my threats are working omg!! siwoo seems responsive yay! (pleased internal dialogue) like bb...that's not how normal ppl operate
but from dohyeok's pov he's like...only threats make siwoo responsive to me otherwise he keeps running away when i don't do stuff like this...in a weird way he's soooo pure about his affections he really just wants siwoo by his side and has no idea what he's doing
