Thanks for dropping a name coz I wanna see some baseline to how delusional those fans were, and yep I was right, IF that was one of the idols that they claim as inspo, then he's just another pretty boy idol who looks like dozens of other pretty boy idols out there. I remember there was an author before who really said that they used bts as inspo for their characters and as an outsider to that fandom, I couldn't see the similarity except for the fashion and hairstyle lmao, that's how saturated their looks are from one another

I think this is true, I don't remember any post from the creator saying it but I remember on forums before others were also saying that it's supposed to be just a short story. But if not for the hate, there might've been potential for side stories tho (not guaranteed ofc), could've been like 'room without window' (the one with the amputee uke); also if you look at the pacing of the work, it feels (for me) that the author was gearing to expand it more if given the chance. Welp, now that's very unlikely to happen
