Ah his parents do love him but his alpha father messed up a lot. Like doesn't allow for omega dad to be alone with them or straight up gave up on Grayson and just told him pretend like a person. Low key abused him in childhood too but Grayson was really fucked up like suggest his friend to kill his younger sibling or the Chase incident

I wouldnt say as much of abused, it was more like child neglect (which well, yes it is a form of abuse) but he wasnt actively hurting them

He was actually. Chocked Grayson when he was pretty young and constantly lock him up. Grayson being Grayson didn't get traumatized but well it's still abuse

Grayson is not the one who looks like dominic the most tho! Its nathaniel. Ashley only goes easy on bliss cause hes an omega and therefore resembles koi.

He is also jealous of his other sons because they are all alphas and so he gets possessive over koi (even tho they wouldnt do anything to koi bc thats their dad after all), even laying out rules that prohibited them from having alone time with koi.

Ashley hates all the alpha kids because they all came out looking like himself. He initially didnt want any childs, koi was the one who wanted 12. They agreed on having one kid, but after that koi just kept manipulating ash

The first kid was nathaniel and he is the one that looks the most like dominic. So koi kept convincing ash to have more kids telling him the next one would look like koi (thats what ash wanted). So when bliss finally came and he looked like koi and was also an omega, they stopped. Thats why ashley likes bliss, and not the others.

Ash does, however, tolerate nathaniel, even tho he resembles dominic a lot. And thats because he learned from a young age to keep his distance and leave koi the fuck alone like ashley wanted unlike chase and grayson who kept demanding attention (like childs do ofc). Nathaniel had to grow up fast, so thats why he is favored to take on his dad’s business.

The reason why ashley hated grayson the most is actually because he manifested at birth and therefore was straight up a menace since always he almost poisoned koi with detergent when he was a small kid, literally because he wanted to see what would happen. After that ashley got mad at hell and prohibited koi from having alone time with his kids. But thats more specifically why ashley always picks on grayson the most (he is also deranged so that doesnt help much)

It is worth nothing that dominant alphas in zig’s universe just dont care for anyone overall except their partners. This also extends to their kids, they dont really care about them. Ashley can like bliss but its not like he LOVES him or something. As for the others, its more like he tolerates them. Neither love nor hate.

Also ash did keep his kids isolated because since he was brought up this way (never had contact with his omega dad), he genuinely believed his kids wouldnt need koi (type of “i turned out just fine” parent ahh logic yk?)

Thats also where the whole wardrobe thing comes from (he was raised that way, so he thinks its the best way to educate them, or wtv)
