The reason why Evelyn turned bad

In the side story, there was a flashback of og Ibelin asking the priest to go out in town to see the festival (in the real world, they couldn't go, and their feelings for each other were impossible to pursue because of their status as the Saint and priest). But in this alternate version, he said yes, and Ibelin was so happy. The side story ended with the original Ibelin and the young priest holding hands and walking together (I forgot where, but it's probably heaven).
She later gets married to Leon (crown prince).
And gets pregnant with Aslan's child (while married to Leon.
And f*cks the knight at the same time. A reverse harem pretty much.
