The problem with this manga is that like 90% of all the conflict is both caused by and solved with love. Like love is nice and all but calm down for a sec author-san And are you SEriouSly trying to tell us that Haruhisa, or whatever oldest ancestor is called, loved that woman??? Like . . .he wasn't even born when she got dumped??. . . that would mean that she had at least 15-20 years to stew in her own bitterness before he fell for her Soooo she comes to kill him and his father, bitter like a rancid grapefruit, and continues murdering his family for 600 years (!!!!??) and he's like??? mY gOd wHat a womAn, yes i love her look how determined she is . . . in murdering his family I'm???
I did enjoy this for the most part but there was a part of me not entirely satisfied with the progression or ending of it. I am not surprised of this because usually most stories end up like this in some way or another......

So what I would have liked to see is her dating someone else (second lead) especially since she was serious of cancelling engagement etc at the beginning. I would have like to see her end up with second lead....Like not everything happens so perfectly if that makes sense.
I actually really liked male lead with the oracle. They had several things in common like the plants...To me it made more sense since they were both descendants of magic and their "ancestors" tried helping (even if one was bestowed the gift from the monk) in turn better help each other presently. While the female lead was the other half of the soul, what would be best for them (souls) were to be away from the root of their "evils" which is the entire family.
It's not bad manga, i actually like the story's theme. But the storytelling is tiring and frustated me. This manga was too clean-cut, i think, it glorifying love too much and hard to relate, the characters also didn't have enough deepness that i expect from josei manga. I feel like i read shoujo manga but with smut (〜￣△￣)〜
I like the author's mangas. But this one was cute but somewhat anticlimactic esp when he was like "I feel in love with your affection and hatred" something along those lines. Like does being choked turn u on Lol? (I'm joking of course). And my only other complaint which is something nothing to do with the story but in every manga of Tomu why is it always missionary. Dumbass question. But idk the poses of it with every sex scene are the same.
Anyways. The female mc was great/mentally strong and wasnt annoying in any way to me like some other mangas with female leads.

No.. I think it's more like he could feel her sorrow radiating off of her.. causing him to feel terrible about what his father did to her.
In a way his feelings are a bit like a redemption for the guilt he felt in his father's stead.
