It's been a decade and that labyrinth house arc with the blood bath still gets me. I watched the anime first and did so at night, so that could have added to it lol.
Even after a decade, this series still has me on a chokehold. I remember how deep i went with the fanfic cause I just want Mai and Naru to be together. I've probably read all ao3 fics of them until 3 years ago ... I hope the ongoing fics have updated ... I should check them ╥﹏╥
I read long time ago the author said Mai and Naru indeed canon and they will be together in the future but the author just doesn't have intention to write it
Loved the stories and characters. But forgive me for finding Mai annoying/frustrating at times, but I guess it's due to her immature teenage girl who has strong empathy and unable to control it yet. And I'm sated to see her in better light at the end of the story

This is one of the anime that makes me hate shoujo. Sorry for most of the time i think mai is annoying and i like the other girl more. I mostly stay for naru and other characters

Coz if they are alive, not only you will end up in jail, but you will also pay for medical bills (which could be really expensive depending on the injury). But if they died, it is a one-time expense. Again, that is what I have heard.
Wish gene showed up in her dreams afterward to say goodbye. I think Naru is a pain and I wish his character got slightly better at least, I think underneath he is just like gene with emotions. :/ Poor Mai
