This author has some serious problems with basic storytelling and paneling. Every story I've read has had really choppy internal monologue/dialogue, to and fro time skips, bizarre phrasing, unexplained actions by the main characters, and unresolved dangling plot threads (on the rare cases there even are plots). It isn't as bad here, but on other of their comics, their panels don't flow from left to right and top to bottom either, as sometimes the only way to make sense of what is happening is to read things is to go in a bizarre diagonal halfway and then return back to the top and then read across the bottom... just a mess all around oof
Probably not, but I've read manga based on light novels and they turn out as choppy as this story. Other than the clear flashbacks (the ones from when they were kids), some chapters are a bit confusing.
I don't like Izumi at all. I know he loves his partner or at least he thinks he does but his actions annoy me from: disappearing, causing your partner to misunderstand, acting like a brat.... I get that the author is going for a guy who acts like a player to hide being hurt and having a complex psychology but to me, he is just an as*hole
Like most of the past coments I'm confused. This manga has a good plot but it's messy and a lot of things are incomplete. How Izumi got his scar. Why is it painful for both him and Kazuhi to see it. And the order of the chapters didn't help...
I think something happened between Izumi and this painter who died. It seems Izumi was in two serious relationships, going from one man to the other, having affairs also with other men in the meantime. Izumi said he killed the painter so maybe they had a fight or something, and Kazushi knew, or guessed, about the other lover so that's why it was so painful for both of them.

I like most of sensei's works but this one not so much. The plotline a bit jumpy and sudden.

Its funny how the last sentence says “and we don’t plan on ENDING it either” then you’ll see on the left “END.”
*Scratch head* HAAAAAAAA?!
