No, the art has definitely changed. He used to have this charismatic look, but now, in the nicest way possible, he looks kinda frail and like someone who just recovered from a not-quite-terminal illness.

Both have confessed that they like each other mutually but they plan to keep things low, together with their plans to achieve their goals first so they have no label yet. Ren is dead set on however, to earn kyoko's affections by seducing her when they're alone lmao. He also subtly blocks anything that comes their way just as he did even before their confessions haha.
Current update is about the new project with american talents with prince as the center and how it'll delve more with ren's past. This will be the international debut of the main characters if im not wrong.
And I get it. I started this in gr7 and now I’m in my late 20s so it’s been a run and I’ve forgot a bit of the story….do I reread the entire thing and remembered why I kept coming back to read it and why I love it so much still. I think unlike the mangas we now get, this one dives into every character a bit and we get a chance to meet them not just as face value or a side character. We are given a whole arc and progression of character where we see a completeness to each chapter that leaves you fulfilled and looking forward to the next development. Additionally, this isn’t a traditional shoujo in the sense that romance is front and center. While we get romance, it’s a side dish to the character development which I really like cause we get to know them truly as individuals and explore their traumas while watching them overcome each trial. I know some people may say the stories and development is dragged out but I hen rereading it, the pacing makes sense and it’s realistic. It’s not rushed nor does it feel forced. I think because each upload takes forever and we get such a gap in between, it feels dragged out but when reading the manga as a whole the pacing makes sense. Even yhe side plots are wonderful and so complete while engaging with the main storyline. And for those going just get together already…honestly same but at the same time, we gotta remember the timeline of this manga where it’s only been like 2ish years?? So it makes sense. I think because I reread it the pacing for recent updates are very complete for me and I appreciate the developments but I can see for those who have not reread it and are basing it off the beginning of time since they read it that it will be dragged out. If anyone wants like a summary or something, lemme know and I can put one together so it will help all of us long time shippers stay on the boat and cheer for our characters as well as this manga!
Anyways, to conclude, for any who is unsure of the manga.,,please give it a try. I think this is a treasure and one of the few mangas of its kind. I also think that the amount of readers here after such a long time speaks to the specialness and amazingness of this manga. I love it and I share the sentiments of slow updates but stand by the fact that this is one of my favourite mangas.
I was in elementary school when I read this, but now I'm already entering my 30s. I last read this 2 years ago and today I checked thinking it might have ended since it's been 2 years but nooooooer, even from the last updated chapter idt it's gonna end anywhere in 3 years lol I don't even know what's the story is about now
