.. i have re read it a few times. Its quite dark with the upperclass story but I love Lin and Lele story. The thing I hate the most is the rushed ending chapters it felt rushed and squeezed into. Spoiler...
I hate that Long ended up with Amber was totally not needed and silly, first of all his mind is basically a 12-14 years old thats really weird as he always acts this age. But its not just that its that I felt because of his traumatic life and all events prior he should have had some time to be free. He isn't alone as he is surrounded by his ppl and Lin. He was basically held hostage by his nasty ass Father who pimped him out to old men and women. Then he was wild when he was a model then later became trapped in a 2 year 'relationship' contract with that guy to free his brother. Dont you think he just needs to be a free agent for a while. That would have been so much better. Plus it hurt alot that he was basically allowed to have that while Lin had to leave Lele because of him. Also, how the heck was there no consequence for what he did to Lele and also to Yang. Lastly, after his memory returned he magically was a nice guy again without have a brother complex? That part was so silly. The bit that annoyed me the most was when he overheard Lin and Taylor talking about how Lin sacrificed his gf for him and Amber lied and told him he was talking about Feidna!!! (╯°Д °)╯╧╧
ppl in the comments need to stfu!! like is this the best thing ever? no. but it's doing its own thing and its doing it WELL. it's like a soap, youre not meant to be looking for the meaning of life in here. also, if it managed to keep ur attention for 60+ chapter it must be doing something right. plus i remind you this is VERY old, like from 2004 or so, that's why sometimes you go 'yikes' at how some things are portrayed, which is fair. still! it's one of VERY few works, especially from that era, where there are bisexuals everywhere and it's fine & a black person (possibly trans) has a prominent role that doesn't revolve around trauma or crime. im not saying read it uncritically (there is for sure a lot to criticise) but it's BY FAR not the most problematic thing on this website so i think it can be enjoyed without ripping it apart
okay yes the plot becomes obscure and unruly, yes the manhwa is intensely problematic, yes this is possibly one of the worse romance manhwas of all time, but guys, i just think this manhwa might be a masterpiece beyond our time and knowledge. I JUST NEED THEM TO BE HAPPY AND NONE OF THEM ARE HAPPY AND EVERYTHING IS STUPID AND SAD AND I CANT DO IT
What makes it so terrible? I haven't read it in YEARS! when I was in Jr high school I was reading it on Manga panda and I read maybe only 20 chapters. What else happens or what??

ok so its not "the worst" per se,,, but if i remember correctly, there is like, a racist charicature, creepy rapist character, weird (borderline homophobic, but also perverse?) perceptions of homosexuality, totally unnecessary amounts of angst and drug abuse, a crazy age gap, and a few other freaky things i cant quite put my finger on... BUT I STILL RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYONE INTERESTED or maybe not, might be nostalgia
I like it kinda like skip beat but a tad worse. As an artist myself the way she draws black people is very bad, on a side note she didn't seem good at coloring to well. There's "inclusion" just very stereotypical it's obviously this is made very 2000's. The protagonist kinda annoying and predictable sometimes but I can deal with it. My favorite character has gotta be amber. Very chill realistic and somewhat relatable.
I wanted a good shojo romance to bounce back from after reading skip beat and this one caught my eye, but within the first 3 chapters I wanted to rip my eyes out. The manga is described as Lele hating the fashion industry, so the fact she was so willing to join all in the first chapter was irritating. Lele is a pretty unremarkable character as a whole, the way she demonized sm people was the worst. Also I see where the mangaka was trying to come from with the LGBTQ, because Taiwan is the first Asian country to legalize same sex marriage, but there were so many stereotypes. I felt so uncomfortable as chinese wlw person. They make gay people seem like sex addicts. Also the way she drew black people was disgusting as least and revolting at most. It was a very clear stereotype of how they are. I collected all this information by only reading the first 4 chapters and the last 10. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone.

None of the chapters are loading for me. Is it just me? I wanted to read this one so badly too
