its originally a BL visual novel which the anime doesn't have BL/yaoi in it. same goes for dramatical murder anime. so theres a bit of confusion there for people who only seen the animes
Dude I will always remember this Togainu cos when I saw the game and anime all I can think about was how ahead of it’s time the artwork was, like the design of the characters. Too others it may have not been as amazing but too me I loved it.

I would say that the manga is based off Shikis routes in the game and the anime (which sucked btw, only the scenes where Shiki and Akira interacted was good lol) was more losely based off the game... The manga came waaaay before the anime...

I just came to check it out after destroying the VN... it's weird. The arts weird, too, not bad, just really action focused and rough. I also do NOT get everyone's fixation on Shiki. Well, I *get* that he's pretty, and his end scenarios are... fun... in an apocalyptic dysfunctional sense, so if you're into rape and Stockholm syndrome, I guess that's your thing.
