When I'm really stuck, I try a change of pace that requires me to move around like a cup of tea/drink of choice or I'll sometimes literally step outside and touch some grass lol. Then I tell myself that once I have finished this thing I'm doing, I'm switching gears when I come back. Idk, works for me when I've got a deadline looming. 1 reply
I'm also a crammer but ngl none of the fancy tricks ever worked for me. What I do is:
-read the material then explain it to myself again like I'm teaching myself
-highlight/underline important stuff if you have a written copy
-write down important terms then their summarized meaning (A - summarized meaning of A in a single sentence) after reading ...... 1 reply
Make a schedule and set up reminders to help you stick to it. One thing I would do was an "on the hour every hour" rule. I would start working on my assignments at the o'clock. not sure what you're procrastinating on but if its like school work i use a reward system (doesn't work very well but works ok enough). i do a certain amount of work I'm procrastinating on and then read a chapter or two as a break/reward and repeat until done. reply
How do you build self control when it comes to reading manga/hobbies. Literally procrastinating and I can’t get off this site. When I do get off I find a different distraction. Any tips on how to have more discipline?
Practice Cold War exam qs if ur doing edexecel exam board it definitely strays away from the other papers and definitely the hardest, know your Khrushchevs and kenndys!!! .
