Self control
How do you build self control when it comes to reading manga/hobbies. Literally procrastinating and I can’t get off this site. When I do get off I find a different distraction. Any tips on how to have more discipline?
Read everything. For me I read all the stories I was interested in and when people recommended me stories; I had already read it or I wasn’t interested in it at all from the beginning. I realized there’s nothing left for me to do but wait until something new comes along. Which can take a week to a month. Ig it’s not really self control but it...... 3 reply
not sure what you're procrastinating on but if its like school work i use a reward system (doesn't work very well but works ok enough). i do a certain amount of work I'm procrastinating on and then read a chapter or two as a break/reward and repeat until done. reply
Make a schedule and set up reminders to help you stick to it. One thing I would do was an "on the hour every hour" rule. I would start working on my assignments at the o'clock. (Whatever hour you're can start working whether it's when you wake up or as soon as you get home.) If I finished before the hour ended, then I would spend the rest of the ho...... reply
When I'm really stuck, I try a change of pace that requires me to move around like a cup of tea/drink of choice or I'll sometimes literally step outside and touch some grass lol. Then I tell myself that once I have finished this thing I'm doing, I'm switching gears when I come back. Idk, works for me when I've got a deadline looming. 1 reply
