I thought women ate "uncooked" babies then 9 months later they come out "fully cooked" from where they pee. I have no idea where that idea came from, but it didn't help that I walk in on a woman, her back turned to me, shushing a crying baby. I thought she was eating it. Her baby bump that appeared soon after did not help her case.   2 reply

I thought a mythical being (like God or something) gave them to people in love after they filled out some documents. I remember worrying that I wouldn't know how to fill out the right documents or that the people in the sky giving out babies would say me and my partner don't love each other enough to have kids.   1 reply
