I wouldn't recommend using a gun for piercings. Most professional piercers wouldn't use a gun either especially for cartilage.

Hi I have triple lobe piercings on both ears and 2 helix on my left. No it doesn't hurt that much on the lobe because it is soft. It just feel like getting injection with a thick needle. Just don't touch it too much so it won't get irritated. But if you're trying to get cartilage piercings it hurts like 3x more. Lobe piercings heal from 1-3 months ...... 1 reply
