Ahh, I have cartilage, industrial and a tongue piercing! The pain scale doesn't go higher than a four for them altogether. It's one quick click (I've used the gun) and you don't feel a lot of pain. the healing process is somewhat quick too although the tongue piercing healing point hurt really bad! Japanese boy here! When I got my tongue piercing I got a cup of ice or smn and started eating it the second I got it done. afterwards I just ate a lot of ice cream & icepops for the next 3-4 days until the swelling/soreness went down, and cleaned it ofc. After that tho it really doesn't make a difference w anything, I forget I even have my tongue p...... reply
I wanted to get a tongue piercing too because i kno a couple of ppl who have them here's what i've learned 1] actually getting the piercing hurts a lot obviously 2]for the next week or so you should stick to a liquid diet seriously don't try to eat solids it can fuck up the piercing and make it bleed or make the healing process longer 3] it's a bit...... 1 reply
Sorry for answering since I am not the original commenter, but I hope to tell based on my experience. For me, I only pierced my ear lobes. It was not painful during the process, but I did experienced some pain shortly afterwards.
