But don't think about the pain too much, it's very quick. I got my nose pierced twice and my cartilage so I can tell you from experience that what you should really worry about is the aftercare, a lot of people kind of dismiss it but it's very important. reply
i have both my nipples pierced, both lobes pierced twice, two helixes and a conch on the left side.
tbh it all depends on how you deal with pain but it hurts only for like half a sec and after its all good. when i went with my cousin she cried when she got her helix pierced because she's really bad with pain but i didn't flinch coz it was okay fo...... 1 reply
I got my ears pierced when I was a toddler (it's a cultural thing) but then I got my septum pierced when I was 18. Honestly, it really hurt and I don't plan on getting anymore piercings. At the same time, though, I really really love my septum piercing. I guage it up (make the hole bigger so the jewelry is thicker) and there are some pretty badass ...... reply
It's mostly been said already but it really does depend on the place, type (i.e surface piercings are less likely to last, from my experience anyway), who does it and of course pain tolerance. I have a very high pain tolerance so can't be too much help there, I got multiple done at once (like 4 at a time lol). Currently have 26 piercings and my hig...... 1 reply
I have my lip pierced (I personally got snakebites) and I don't really know my pain tolerance but I would say it didn't hurt too bad I mean obviously it hurt but way less than I was expecting and really the worst part for me was when the jewelry was place in the fresh piercing

I have a second hole on my ear, it didn't hurt. Its just a sting. The further you move up your ear the more it will sting/hurt. It will be sore but you should be fine.
Like if you cut yourself with glass it hurts while its cutting but afterwards it's just a bit sore~
If your doing it on your nose or lip I don't really know. My cousin has a nose ...... 2 reply
