I think that's the process for almost everyone... I started with simple, fluff and cute things like eleven years ago, and grown to like reeeeeally dark and twisted things. They just seem to me more... realistic in a way. More bearable than all those sparkles with alien-size eyes. Bc they tell complicated and crude stories that not always end well, ......   2 reply

That same thing definitely happened to me(I'm a fudanshi, so it may be slightly different). After awhile I just got sick of all the fluffy crap. I mean, don't get me wrong, I still love that stuff, but after awhile it's nice to see something real, fresh, and fucked up.
