Okayyyyyyy I just want some book or song recomendations. I feel like ya'll might hate me for this but can the book be a regular book, not a manga, and could the song be in english please? If you guys want to get an idea of what I'd prefer than I'll just tell you, My favorite book is the Grapes of Wrath and my favorite songs are Tennessee Waltz (Guy Lombardo cover) and Someday I will treat you good (Sparklehorse). With a lot of asian parents, it's doctor, engineer(if you're lucky) or lawyer but nahh my dad has the options of a primary school teacher, high school math teacher or uni prof like has the memo of I hate being around people not gone through??? My family wants me to become a lawyer or a politician, I'm guessing that I probably will. But I think they got really serious when i became 9, I had to bathe myself and brush my teeth for myself and even make my OWN bed (don't judge me).
