It's actually a breath of fresh air that someone's asking for regular book recommendations here. Feels noice :)
I used to read a lot of books back in highschool (gosh, I sound so old -_-).
This one I love the most: The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho
This one has a Lemony Snicket vibe to it: The Secret series by Pseudonymous Bosch

Yeah... they expect so much from me that's it's so suffocating. I really am going to rant here, sorry I have no outlet
A toxic Filipino culture when you're the eldest of the children, is when your parents brought you up to study and work hard to help your younger siblings.

I knew because I eavesdropped while he was telling his friends, he walked a bit too close to me and when I was standing (with my legs a bit apart) he went and put his leg between ...... reply
One of my regrets was from second grade, the first day of school. My best friend from the year before seemed to have disappeared and when lunch came, I searched the entire cafeteria for her. When I found her she was in the lunch line. "HEYYYYYY!" I called out to her, I could tell she was ignoring me because I yelled to her a couple times before she...... reply
