It's actually a breath of fresh air that someone's asking for regular book recommendations here. Feels noice :) I used to read a lot of books back in highschool (gosh, I sound so old -_-). This one I love the most: The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho This one has a Lemony Snicket vibe to it: The Secret series by Pseudonymous Bosch And for music, I en......   reply

Yeah... they expect so much from me that's it's so suffocating. I really am going to rant here, sorry I have no outlet A toxic Filipino culture when you're the eldest of the children, is when your parents brought you up to study and work hard to help your younger siblings. There's nothing wrong with helping your family. But it becomes a burden w......   reply

I mean I get your point about real people being affected but like you said, it is FICTION. It's like saying we can't enjoy movies or shows about other issues because they are happening in real life. Hell we might like watching a show revolving around drug-dealing and we may be rooting for them in the show, but in real life we would not. It's not th......   2 reply

I absolutely regret not being more serious about school. I know this might sound dumb, but after re-reading Death Note, I just realized what a dumbass I was for not taking school more seriously. Obviously I feel like it's dumb to compare real life to an anime but I was "smart" ever since I was a child. I got straight A's all the time until 8th grad......   1 reply

I have been properly asked out once. So it was in 6th grade, like 3 weeks in. There was this boy; real loud and funny, hilarious to be around. We hit it off pretty good on the first few days, sat at a table together and made jokes and told stories, were obnoxious together in class, kind of like a comedic duo. I think I should have saw it coming. ......   reply

No one has asked me out and I kind of wish someone would. Once in fifth grade I knew this guy liked me, I talked to him about math one time and he must've fallen in love. I knew because I eavesdropped while he was telling his friends, he walked a bit too close to me and when I was standing (with my legs a bit apart) he went and put his leg between ......   reply

One of my regrets was from second grade, the first day of school. My best friend from the year before seemed to have disappeared and when lunch came, I searched the entire cafeteria for her. When I found her she was in the lunch line. "HEYYYYYY!" I called out to her, I could tell she was ignoring me because I yelled to her a couple times before she......   reply
